The property accommodates between 26 and 32 guests across 12 to 15 bedrooms spread across the main building and a private annexe, with Florence and Siena each around 45 minutes by car, and the nearest town just 5 minutes away.
Chianti's landscape reveals itself gradually as you explore from this base — the cypress-lined roads, the medieval hilltop villages, and the cellars where Sangiovese has aged for generations. Greve in Chianti, with its arcaded piazza and renowned butcher shops, is a short drive; San Gimignano and Volterra are within comfortable reach for a morning's wandering among towers and alabaster workshops; and the wine estates of Castellina, Radda, and Gaiole invite longer afternoons of tasting. Florence can be reached in under an hour for a day among the Uffizi's masterpieces and the cathedral's terracotta dome, whilst the hill towns of Certaldo and Montespertoli are barely 10 minutes away for everyday provisions and unhurried local lunches.
The interiors of the casale carry the character of a Tuscan building lived in over centuries — terracotta floors, brick archways, and exposed wooden beams run throughout, while the furnishings balance rustic solidity with modern comfort. A sitting room with a large fireplace provides a natural gathering point on cooler evenings, and the kitchen is well equipped for both private chef service and independent use.
