The Setting
Perched at an elevation of approximately 4,960 feet along the Ortisei-Furnes ski run, Chalet Ortisei occupies a breathtaking hillside position framed by the dramatic peaks of the Dolomites. Set directly on the slope, the chalet offers true ski-in/ski-out access to the renowned Seceda area, with the Furnes mid-station standing just 160 feet from the door.
As winter’s snow gives way to summer, high Alpine pastures and forests open onto a network of scenic hiking trails beginning within moments of the property and extending through the UNESCO-listed Dolomite landscape.
Ortisei’s lively village center - with its pedestrianized historic heart, artisan boutiques, welcoming cafés, and excellent restaurants - lies just seven minutes away by car. The location brings together a remarkable sense of Alpine privacy, sweeping mountain views, and effortless access to village life and world-class ski infrastructure.
The Living Spaces
Spanning approximately 4,155 square feet across three levels, Chalet Ortisei is a masterclass in modern Alpine design, crafted from richly grained timber, natural stone, and expansive glass. The upper level forms the principal gathering space beneath a soaring timber roof, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame panoramic views across Val Gardena.
At its heart, the open-plan lounge and dining area is arranged around a fireplace, with a raw-edge timber dining table creating an impressive setting for meals prepared by the private chef. Bang & Olufsen surround sound and a cinema projection screen bring a further dimension to evenings at the chalet.
On the ground floor, three beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms provide calm and privacy, each opening directly onto the garden terrace and outdoor pool.
The lower level is dedicated to wellness, with a 1,615 square-foot private spa comprising a Finnish sauna, steam bath, Aquamoon waterfall shower, snow shower, and a relaxation lounge with its own fireplace, television, and bar. A dedicated massage room, fitness room with Technogym equipment, ski room with heated boot warmers, and garage with an EV charging station complete this exceptional Alpine residence.
