Further afield are the most famous towns of Umbria, Assisi and Perugia, which are reachable in under one hour, and Lake Trasimeno and the historic town of Narni are around one hour away respectively.

Villa Orangerie is a paradise of nature nestled within the rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves of Umbria. This stunning luxury villa near Todi features panoramic views of the countryside and is set within a magnificent estate that spans some 65 hectares of land, with 6.5 hectares dedicated to its private working vineyard. The villa is gated and wonderfully private, creating an atmosphere of pure serenity, and car hire is strongly recommended, yet it is also just a 10-minute journey to the quaint town of San Venzano where guests will find all of the necessary amenities for a delightful Umbrian vacation.

There are endless choices of things to do here and guests might choose to start by lounging by the large infinity swimming pool or loosing themselves in the expansive vineyards and grounds of the estate. There is an onsite wine cellar and an orangery dedicated to wine-tasting experiences with a view. Outside of the villa guests can enjoy soaking in the countryside via bike or horse ride, or even just a leisurely walk. The wonders of Perugia and the UNESCO site of Assisi can be found in under an hour whilst water lovers can enjoy a boat trip around the Lake Trasimeno, located an hour away.
