A 16th century farmhouse elegantly transformed into a luxury hilltop villa on the border between Tuscany and Umbria.

Located just a 10 minutes’ drive from the village of Pierantonio, the villa is immersed in one of Umbria most spectacular estate, a sublime mix of deep green woods and gentle rolling hills that invite you to try an array of sports and leisure activities including golf in the adjoining Antognolla Golf Course. Perugia and Lake Trasimeno are within a short drive away as it is the border with Tuscany and its Val d’Orcia region.

Set on top of a hill in the verdant Umbrian countryside, surrounded by spectacular views across to the medieval castle of Antognolla and its 18-hole championship golf on which guests enjoy a 15% discount, Villa Subtilia is a large villa for rent in Umbria made up of two buildings spread over a well-manicured lawns and gardens. Guests also benefit from a further 5% discount in the Golf Shop.

The panoramic infinity pool and heated outdoor jacuzzi have the most amazing views over the surrounding hills and is the perfect spot to relax at the end of a day of sightseeing and to enjoy magnificent sunsets with a glass of wine in hand. The fully equipped kitchen and large indoor and outdoor dining invite you to indulge in Italian feast prepared by yourself or ordered from the estate’s restaurant – perfect for those that want to simply relax and enjoy the local cuisine. The estate offers a wide range of local experiences including cooking classes, hiking trips and in-villa spa services. Additionally, the estates restaurant 'Il Caldaro' offers a complimentary shuttle service for a maximum of 8 guests per villa.
