Villa Le Stelle is a historic 10-bedroom beachfront property in Torre Delle Stelle, on Sardinia's southern coast. Built in 1963, the villa sits directly above a golden sandy beach with views across the bay to the Gulf of Angels. The estate comprises a main house, 5 garden annexes, and a connected bungalow, accommodating up to 20 guests. Cagliari Airport is approximately 40 minutes away, and the resort town of Villasimius around 20 minutes along one of Sardinia's most scenic coastal roads.
Torre Delle Stelle takes its name from an old watchtower that crowns the headland—at night, the lights of hillside villas reflect on the water like a second sky. The village sits between 2 white-sand beaches, Genn'e Mari and Cann'e Sisa, both with shallow turquoise water that slopes gently into the sea. The drive east toward Villasimius passes a succession of small bays—Mari Pintau, Kal'e Moru, Solanas—each with its own character. At Villasimius, the Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area offers some of the island's finest snorkelling and diving, while boat trips reach hidden coves and sea caves along the coast. To the west, Cagliari rewards a day of wandering through its castello quarter, Roman amphitheatre, and harbourside restaurants.
The villa has been in the same family for 4 generations and retains the character of a private home, with rooms arranged around courtyards and shaded terraces. Each of the 10 bedrooms is individually themed and has its own ensuite bathroom. The main house contains living and dining areas, while a ballroom provides additional entertaining space. A fully equipped kitchen serves the property, and a piano is available for guests. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are provided throughout.
The grounds are planted with mature Mediterranean gardens, with bougainvillea, pine, and flowering shrubs framing multiple outdoor spaces. An infinity pool overlooks the beach, accompanied by a separate children's pool. 5 sea-view terraces provide areas for dining and relaxation at different times of day, and a pizza oven and barbecue allow for outdoor cooking. An outdoor shower serves the pool area, and sun loungers and daybeds are positioned throughout the garden. A pathway leads directly from the property onto the sand. Parking is available within the grounds for up to 8 vehicles.
