The villa sits within the Tremezzina municipality, one of the lake's most celebrated stretches, with Milan Malpensa Airport approximately 1 hour by car and Como around 30 minutes away.
From the private dock, the view extends directly across to Isola Comacina—Lake Como's only island and home to the ruins of a Romanesque basilica—whilst the historic Greenway del Lago di Como passes the garden gate, offering a scenic 10-kilometre walking path that connects the lakeside villages of Colonno and Griante. Villa del Balbianello, the 18th-century estate featured in numerous films, is a short boat ride across the Dosso di Lavedo promontory, and the celebrated gardens of Villa Carlotta lie within 15 minutes by car; Bellagio, where the lake's 3 branches converge, can be reached by ferry or private boat for an afternoon of wandering narrow lanes lined with silk shops and gelaterias.
