Montaione's hillside position offers sweeping views of the lush vineyards and olive groves that characterise the surrounding Chianti countryside.

Set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, Il Castelfalfi is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Tuscany. Step back in time in the medieval castle while contemplating the striking views. Once set in a medieval village, the grounds now surrounding the resort are filled with charming shops and restaurants sure to transport you to a different era.
Warm, earthy tones welcome you into the contemporary main building of the Hotel Il Castelfalfi, which is home to the reception desk, the breakfast lounge and the bright 1,000-m2 spa, with heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools. But the hotel's real wow factor is its impressive natural setting: the view from the terrace at the modern Olivina restaurant turns even a quick coffee break into a memorable experience; the spa overlooks the Tuscan hills, which appear to melt into the horizon, offering guests a true oasis of calm.
Opposite the main hotel stands the historic tobacco warehouse, where the history of Castelfalfi can still be felt to this day. Built in the early 1900s to provide work to residents living on the estate, the historic building now houses 31 traditional rooms, perfect for lovers of Tuscan style. The estate also offers a selection of private villas and apartments that can be rented on a self-catering basis and benefit from the services and facilities of the resort. The private villas available within the resort are Casale I Bianchi and Casale Spina.
Please note that the Castelfalfi Golf Course will be closed for renovation from January 2025.
