A charming family villa nestled amongst the olive groves and hills that surround Lucca, just a short drive from the city centre and close to the many resorts of the Tuscan coast.

Villa la Serra is situated within a wide estate in Western Tuscany, 10km north of Lucca. Lucca is a medieval city that has been unspoilt; the city walls can be explored by foot or cycling. Within a short drive away are some of the main Tuscan attractions such as Pisa, Florence, beaches of Versilia, the Cinque Terre, the Garfagnana mountains and many more.

Set over two properties adjacent to each other, Villa La Serra is a large villa for rent in Lucca, surrounded by stunning orchards of plums, peaches, figs and vines. Originally used for making wine, storing lemons in the winter and milling flour, the buildings have been lovingly restored to the highest standard and are spacious, comfortable and bright.

The villa is perfectly positioned within the hillside and olive groves of Northern Tuscany. It is 10km from the medieval city of Lucca, where you can take a bike tour around the walls of this intriguing city. And within an hour’s drive from the beautiful Italian cities of Florence and Pisa. With wineries and medieval villages on your doorstep, there are endless opportunities for daily excursions to explore Tuscany. Back at the villa, there is a large swimming pool, and many outdoor seating areas, which can be used for al fresco dinners as the sun sets over the Tuscan hillside, or enjoy a late evening walk through the olive groves and wooded areas. It is walled and gated ensuring complete privacy.

Stunning family villa set in a beautiful location, lots of attractions close by, but relaxing in the gorgeous gardens was wonderful.
