Piccolo Trullo occupies a quiet position in the Itria Valley, where the region's characteristic cone-roofed dwellings have defined the landscape for centuries. This restored trullo accommodates four guests within its traditional stone structure, offering direct access to Alberobello's UNESCO-protected trulli quarter and the broader network of whitewashed hill towns that distinguish this corner of Puglia.

The Itria Valley spreads across gently rolling terrain planted with ancient olive groves and punctuated by historic masserie. Alberobello's concentration of trulli architecture lies nearby, whilst Ostuni's clifftop old town, Locorotondo's circular historic centre, and the Adriatic beaches around Polignano a Mare all sit within comfortable driving distance. Local wine estates throughout the valley offer tastings of Puglia's native varietals, and the region's traditional restaurants serve orecchiette and other pasta shapes still made by hand according to generations-old methods.

Inside the trullo's thick stone walls, the main living area centres on an original fireplace beneath the building's distinctive conical ceiling. The kitchen provides full equipment for preparing meals with produce from the valley's markets and farms. Air conditioning throughout the property supplements the trullo's characteristic cool interior climate—a practical feature of the traditional construction that has kept these buildings comfortable through Puglian summers for centuries.

Beyond the main structure, a private swimming pool measuring four by six metres sits within the property's gardens, where established olive trees provide natural shade over the stone terraces. The outdoor areas include space for dining and for the long Apulian evenings that extend from afternoon into dusk. The property is bordered by the low dry-stone walls typical of the Valle d'Itria—built without mortar in a centuries-old technique unique to this part of Puglia—which define the boundaries between neighbouring properties throughout the valley, preserving the open, pastoral character that has defined this landscape for generations.

Note: An electricity post stands at the edge of the property boundary, away from the main outdoor living areas and positioned so as not to obstruct the views across the surrounding olive groves.
